About Our Veterinary Blood Bank

At the heart of our mission is a simple belief: every pet deserves access to life-saving care when they need it most. Our veterinary blood bank exists to make that possible.

Just like in human medicine, animals sometimes need blood transfusions during surgery, after an accident, or when facing illness. Having a dependable supply of safe, high-quality blood products means veterinarians can act quickly — giving pets in crisis a second chance at life.

Our team is proud to serve the greater Puget Sound community, working hand in hand with local clinics, hospitals, and pet owners to ensure that no animal goes without the care they need. Every donation we collect is carefully tested, processed, and stored to help dogs and cats across our region receive the very best care possible.

The Power of Donor Volunteers

Our community of donor pets and their families makes all of this possible. These generous volunteers are the true heartbeat of our program. Each donation can help save multiple lives, offering hope to pets and families when it’s needed most.

When your dog or cat becomes a blood donor, they’re not just helping another animal — they’re helping a neighbor, a friend, and a fellow member of our Puget Sound community. Together, we create a network of compassion that extends beyond hospital walls and into the homes of families who love their pets just as deeply as you love yours.

Through your support, we can maintain a steady, local supply of life-saving blood products for every patient who needs them — because emergencies don’t wait, and neither should help.

Join Our Community of Lifesavers

If you have a healthy, happy pet, consider joining our donor family. Your pet’s donation could be the difference between loss and recovery for another beloved animal right here in the Puget Sound. Together, we can make sure that every pet in need has the chance to go home again.
